SendFit compresses videos locally on an iPhone or iPad. This policy describes information handling in the app and does not replace the privacy policies of Apple, Google, or other services used on a device.
Videos selected from Photos, Files, or a compatible system open/share flow are processed on the device. SendFit does not upload videos, operate a video-processing server, sell video content, or use video content for advertising.
To process reliably, SendFit may make a temporary copy in its own app storage. It never overwrites or deletes the original source video. Temporary working files are deleted when they are no longer needed; saved or exported videos are controlled by the user in the destination they choose.
The free version includes Google Mobile Ads. Google’s SDK may process IP addresses (including approximate location), device identifiers, advertising interactions, crash information, and performance information to deliver and measure advertising. Videos are never supplied to Google for advertising. See Google’s SDK data disclosures.
Before requesting ads, SendFit uses Apple’s native App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt when the system has not already recorded a decision. If you allow tracking, Google may use the advertising identifier (IDFA) for personalized advertising and measurement across other companies’ apps and websites, subject to applicable regional consent. There is no custom prompt that grants tracking permission.
If you decline tracking or the system restricts it, ads can still appear: Google does not receive IDFA, and SendFit disables ad personalization using Google’s Publisher Privacy Treatment setting. SendFit also disables Google’s publisher first-party ID feature. Non-personalized ads can still involve contextual information and processing for ad delivery, security, frequency limits, and reporting; they do not mean that no data is collected.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) separately requests applicable regional advertising consent, including in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. A regional consent choice cannot override a denied ATT choice. Privacy options appear in SendFit Settings when required; Apple tracking permission can be changed in the device’s Settings. SendFit rechecks permission when returning to the foreground and discards previously loaded ads before requesting new inventory.
Advertising requires network access and available inventory. Declining tracking does not disable importing, compression, saving, or sharing, and video compression remains available when advertising, consent, or network access is unavailable.
SendFit requests access only when needed to import a video from Photos or to use a file selected through the system picker. The app uses the selected video to provide compression and export features.
SendFit does not maintain a user account or a first-party backend for videos or personal profiles. The app does not share video content with SendFit. Advertising-related processing is provided by Google as described above.
SendFit is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service, contact that service directly.
This policy may change when the app’s features or providers change. The current version is published in this repository. For support or privacy questions, open an issue at VioletXF/send-fit.
